There are lots of great spots to snowshoe in Hope Valley, but a fun, easy one is to walk down (not up) the old Luther Pass Highway.  Park one car at the turnout on the top of Luther Pass that is closest to Hope Valley and the other at the bottom of the valley.  Start at the top and walk about 2.5 miles to Highway 88 or 89.  The old road is buried in snow so there isn’t really a trail, but you may find tracks to follow.  If not, Hope Valley is wide open so it is easy to make your own and not get lost.  This walk is great fun during the day or on full moon nights!
