There is no lack of endorsement for Andy’s nomination for this award. Through his actions, Andy demonstrates Lakeside Inn’s beliefs and values on a regular basis. Andy is sincere in his interactions with staff and guests. This comes natural for Andy. It is in his character.
He also has an uncanny awareness of what is going on around him. This allows Andy to foresee our guests’ needs, deal with sensitive issues and communicate them to those who need to know in a timely manner. Andy is selfless regarding the needs of Lakeside, serving Floor shifts when asked at the same high level of performance. |
Walter Rodas - July 2004
It gives me great joy to introduce Walter Rodas as our July employee of the month. Walter has been working for the Kitchen Department since March 2003. From his first day on the job, Walter has shown integrity and dedication to Lakeside Inn. There have been numerous occasions when we have called him back to cover a shift. Walter has ALWAYS been there to bring us through.
I particularly remember one occasion when Walter worked a double shift here, went to work at his newly acquired graveyard position at his other job, and then came back to work here without going to sleep. I was concerned, so I checked on him periodically-- only to realize that he was working at the same pace, with the same cooperative attitude and with the same smile on his face. Before going home, he said, “Call me if you need me.”
We are proud to count Walter as part of our team. Walter, I thank you for your efforts. You are a true inspiration to many people. |
